Girls’ Night Out at Ravinia

Official Rules

1. SPONSOR. This Sweepstakes is sponsored by ‘WCIU, The U,’ whose corporate address is 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, Illinois 60661 (the "Sponsor").

2. ENTRY. A purchase is not required to enter or win one (1) of (10) pairs of tickets to see the Chicago Symphony Orchestra perform the score to ‘Titanic’ at Ravinia on July 30. The Sweepstakes begins Monday, July 22, 2016 at 6:00 AM and ends Friday, July 22, 2016 at 12:00 PM unless extended by ‘WCIU, The U.’ To participate, viewers must watch for the code word during You & Me during the Sweepstakes period on ‘WCIU, The U’ for their chance to win. Each day, one (1) code word will be shown two (2) times between 6 AM and 8:00 AM. To enter the Sweepstakes, viewers must submit the Code Word within 24 hours of the start of each show the following day, except on the final day, Friday, July 22, 2016, in which the final code word must be submitted by 12 PM. Only one (1) entry per person, per code word, per day will be accepted. Ten (10) winners will be selected using a computer software winner selection tool from all eligible entries.

Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, illegible, misdirected or mutilated entries, including due to technical/network failures, human error, or any other error or malfunction. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void.

Entrants agree not to upload, post or transmit any materials which contain any computer viruses, Easter eggs, worms, Trojan Horses or other harmful component or programming routines that are intended to damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and Sponsor reserves the rights to seek damages from any person who makes such attempt(s).

Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted by an individual or authorized account holder of an e-mail address shall be determined by Weigel Broadcasting Co. in its sole discretion, and Weigel Broadcasting Co. reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes.

3. ELIGIBILITY. The Girls’ Night Out at Ravinia Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of Illinois who live in the Chicago DMA, as defined by Nielsen, and are age 21 years or older. Employees of ‘WCIU, The U,’ Weigel Broadcasting Co., Ravinia, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, their advertising agencies, consultants, franchisees, suppliers, (collectively, “Sweepstakes Parties”), family members are not eligible to enter or win. In addition, individuals who share a common household with an employee of a Sweepstakes Party or who are in any kind of domestic relationship or partnership with an employee of a Sweepstakes Party (e.g., boyfriends, girlfriends, fiancé, roommates) are not eligible to enter or win this Sweepstakes. Sponsor shall be the sole judge of what constitutes a domestic relationship or partnership in the event of a dispute.

4. PRIZES. Ten (10) winners will be awarded a pair of tickets to see the Chicago Symphony Orchestra perform the score to ‘Titanic’ at Ravinia on Saturday, July 30 at 7:30 PM. Prize includes a meet and greet with Melissa Forman and Jeanne Sparrow, hosts of You & Me, as well as food and non-alcoholic beverages. Total Prize valued at $170. Odds of winning will be determined by the total number of eligible entries; one (1) winner from each day will be selected. Winners will be selected on Friday, July 22 and contacted via email. Once notified, the winners will have three (3) business days to claim their Prize. If a winner fails to claim their Prize, it will result in the forfeiture of the Prize and a new drawing may be held from the remaining eligible entries at the discretion of ‘WCIU, The U.’ Prize winners must possess a valid picture ID to claim their Prize.

5. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. These Prizes are non-transferable and are subject to all terms & conditions specified on the Prize vouchers. Prizes are not valid with any other offer, coupon, discount or group rate. Winners must pick up their tickets at the Ravinia Will Call counter unless otherwise specified. There will be no substitute or cash redemption awarded to any Sweepstakes winner. All income and other taxes are the responsibility of the winners. By entering, the winner is consenting to the use of their name, likeness, and/or biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration. Prizes do not include alcohol, parking or transportation.

6. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY. Winners are responsible for income and other taxes on the Prizes. Winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability, and Letter of Indemnification within three (3) business days of notification of being a winner. Failure to comply with the rules and conditions of the Sweepstakes may result in a forfeiture of Prize.

7. MISCELLANEOUS. The decisions made by ‘WCIU, The U,’ concerning any and all matters with respect to this promotion shall be final. In the event of a computer, telephone failure, or any other circumstances beyond the control of ‘WCIU, The U,’ where it becomes impracticable to award one or more prizes, ‘WCIU, The U,’ may, in its sole and absolute discretion, determine not to award any such Prize. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited, penalized or otherwise restricted by law. A copy of these official Sweepstakes rules are available at the ‘WCIU, The U’ offices located at 26 N. If you wish to receive the names of Sweepstakes Prize winners, you must send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to ‘Girls’ Night Out Ravinia - July 16’, 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, IL 60661. ‘WCIU, The U’ must receive any request for the winners’ names no later than December 20, 2016.
