WCIU-TV, “The U”

For more than a generation, WCIU has been Chicago’s go-to place for great entertainment. Fan favorites like Judge Judy, Judge Mathis, Maury, and The People’s Court make for daytime appointment viewing, while classic sitcoms like Seinfeld and Modern Family entertain at night. WCIU is also proud to feature soon-to-be-classics The Neighborhood, American Housewife and Karamo as part of its eclectic entertainment programming lineup along with The Conners, Bob hearts Abishola, Modern Family and The Flip Side with Jaleel White. Chicago P.D. is featured on the wekeends. Locally-produced TV includes the weekly half-hour news magazine broadcast, On The Block, and Illinois High School Association Championship Football and Basketball Games. In addition, nationally-renowned horror host Svengoolie offers an encore presentation of his B-movie show to indulge in on Saturday mornings.
